8 Tips To A Feel Good New You!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

So its that time of year again to dust off the yoga mat and throw out the chocolate! Now not everyone has a new years resolution or if they're anything like me make one but only ever stick to it for about a week max! So this year I've decided to just focus on loving life! Doing things that make me incredibly happy and better myself.

Heres a few things that you can follow to get a new feel good you!

1.The S Word
Its as simple as that really crack a smile people! spread the happiness and it will come back around to you. For all you know you can brighten someones day! I work in retail and when I'm having a really bad day all it could take is a lovely happy customer to make me feel good about myself again!

2.Book A Holiday
Having something to look forward to makes work life so much better don't you agree?... planning your next adventure gets the excited juices flowing and allowed you to explore places you've never been before! whether its sipping cocktails on a roof top bar on a city break or sunning yourself on a beach in barbados its an all round winner.

3.Learn Something New
Now this is something that we all roll our eyes at and normally skip but I'm telling you its actually so much fun. Im not talking get your algebra books out and head back to school I'm talking the fun stuff. Theres endless lists of things you could do from learning a language, salsa dancing, to ski, or simply take a gym class.

4.Eat Clean
I don't mean rule out all carbs and eat nothing but leaves for the whole year. But eating clean for a few weeks can have nothing but a positive affect on both yourself and your lifestyle. As hard as it is to put down the crisps and pick up an apple i have to be honest when i do eat clean my skin is clearer, i feel more awake and ridiculously i feel happier.... (which is strange because id be happier eating cake!)

5.Make An Effort
Now don't get me wrong no one loves a onesie and messy hair more than me but i have to say i feel so much sassier when i make an effort. Try a new hairstyle or get your make up on point whatever makes you feel like a female boss. Now this isn't to say that you have to doll yourself up to look fab! Most lucky girls out there look amazing with no effort and for that i am eternally jealous!! However you must all have that feeling when you piece together a killer outfit and know that anything you do that day will be 100!

6.Date Night
With our busy lives and schedules full of first world princess problems we tend to loose touch from friends, family and baes. But lets be honest us brits spend on average 8 hours and 41 minutes sat scrolling on our phones. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure we could all spare an hour or so to see our besties or meet our man for lunch! So if your reading this and feeling guilty pick up your phone and text someone you haven't spoken to for a while and know you really should! .... It takes 5 mins to say hello.

7.That Thing
I realise that is probably the whole point of a new years resolution but i still think its a valid point...
Get on to finally doing that thing you've always wanted/needed to do. For example it might be that you always wanted to upcycle an old chest of draws that are sitting sadly in your garage. Or maybe go to a roller disco.... really and honestly it could be anything that your heart desires! For me its actually rather boring but i NEEEED to organise my room. Its an absolute tip and quite frankly its about time i became more organised.

8.Live In The Moment
This is the big finale and for me my number one go to happiness tip! I struggle a lot with the thought of the future and the horrible prospects of not being on this planet for eternity, and by following this simple tip i am now actually able to be as happy as i like!
Think like a child... they don't worry about what they're going to have for dinner tomorrow or what the next day at work has in store for them... Granted they don't have any responsibilities what so ever but we can still take a leaf or two out of their book! Think for right now focus on this very second and live it to the full, do what you want this very moment...... to an extent!

Now i am by no means a life coach and most of these are probably a bunch of rubbish! But  personally they've helped me! So why not try a few, Id love to know if any of my tips have helped any of you or if you've got any ideas for me to try out myself then please leave them in the comments box below.

Love to you all this fabulous 2016!!

P.S. Its my birthday in 3 days!!!!!! (the big 20)

My Adventure To Prague

What to say about Prague?.....

Well where do i even begin?....
When thinking of somewhere to whisk Daniel away to for his birthday of course first thoughts where NEW YORK! But in reality I'm not an absolute baller and my budget was far from close!

Originally i was thinking of Barcelona but soo many customers had told me of all these amazing places in Prague, the beautiful scenery, and unforgettable memories that they had all created in just a short stay. So to be honest i felt like we were missing out having never been and it was never a place id even contemplated visiting!

We spent the majority of our time in Prague walking between the Old Town and Wencelas Square. The metro line was literally a 5 minute journey if not back to the hotel and with Starbucks next door a daily coffee was in order! Hosting once again Signal light festival this October we were able to go and see some amazing instillations and shows! Waling from one to the other following the crowd with our little map was fun but i have to say the view from the old clock tower was even better! Being able to see huge banners of multi coloured lights streaming through the sky above the town was beautiful!

Now im not normally one to get overwhelmed by architecture but Prague castle was beyond beautiful!!! It was absolutely breathtaking the sheer detail and effort was crazy! Daniel even described it as Hogwarts, with the fog being super thick that day it had a really eery feel to it and made the whole experience soo much more magical.

Not only did we hit the top sightseeing spots in Prague we also made sure we had our fair share of Czech Republic's well loved street food! From sour cherry beer to sugar toasted Tredlenik there were little autumn markets all over the town and I've heard that the christmas markets are amazing!!! (Looks like we might need to make another trip)

So take a look at our pics and keep an eye out for our little 'follow me around' vid which will be uploaded early next week when my camera decides to play along!

Love you all.xx

So its time to stock up on a new autumnal wardrobe. Over the next few weeks i will be introducing you to some key pieces that can keep you up to date this winter.

Ive been waiting for soo long too find a simple pair of suede thigh highs to complete what will be my staple outfit this season! Because of the sheer length of these boots you can get away with wearing both skirts and dresses all year long and how cute is this boohoo skirt? I am in love!

Busting Retail Blues

So guys and gals as you know i work in fashion retail and as recently I've heard ALOT of people saying how they hate shopping, how they struggle to shop for outfits that suit them or are in current trends or that they simply can't be bothered! WHAT?..... I don't know maybe I'm just an absolute shopaholic but i love it! don't get me wrong its soo much easier to sit at home order something online and get all excited at the anticipation of a parcel coming for you, because lets face it who sends parcels or letters anymore. But theres something about lugging bags around shops and getting to have an all day fashion show trying things on like your a human doll!

Anyway... Heres a few tips I've created to help you cope with shopping and if not then just a few things that I've learnt from working in retail that can actually help you!

1 ~ Mannequin

You know them human shaped things in shops yeah... well they are there for a reason they act as a display cabinet for the best, current on trend fashion! Generally the newest stock to that store or season. Take note. If you need some inspiration then take a look at their mannies and see if that style is for you because most of the time if you don't like those then more often then not your probably not going to like the rest of that brand. If your someone who's doesn't want to waste time then the work is done for you! A whole outfit from accessories to layers! In outfit we have a range of brands so mannequins are a great way to see the different styles that each feature!

2 ~ Staff

Ask for help! I know that for some reason theres a sense of defeat when you get asked ' are you okay there' 'do you need any help' and you give in and accept help. Most of the time sales assistants in shops are perceived as people who just want to sell you the most expensive stock in stores but i have some news for you hunnies! They actually know their stuff. Okay so i can't talk for all employees in all shops but in Outfit we are trained to know what looks good and be honest! If a customer needs help with an outfit or an opinion its only right to be truthful. After all they are putting their faith in you to look good. A date, a girlfriends birthday prezzie,  a night out, or simply just a new wardrobe. so try it ... you might be surprised!

3 ~ Fitting room fright

'You'll never know until you try' and 'it looks a lot different off the hanger' are two things i tell customers i face every single day at work. When it comes to trying things on, unless your super busy and in a rush, then don't hold back! Take as much as you can and try new things on that you wouldn't normally. I would always suggest picking up one thing that maybe your not to keen on or sure about but has some characteristic that your a fan of. So it may be that you hate the fabric but like the shape, or that the cut is horrible but it has a nice ruffle. Trust me it will look a lot different when those womanly curves get in!

4 ~ Dress for the occasion

If your not a fan of the fitting room process having to get dressed and underessed and want to speed it up then you'll need to head out in the right gear! looks are important too, don't get me wrong shopping in a baggy tee, hair up and no makeup on is the ideal picture but think about it if your shopping for a girls night out or date night with your granny pants and hair that could fry and egg then you'll only throw yourself into the nothing looks good on me stage! Which lets be honest always ends in buying nothing! Pick shoes that are not only going to get you through the day but also compliment whatever it is that your shopping for! so ankle boots or ask to take a pair of heels in with you! And don't forget your  chuck on outfit! a simple day dress or stretch jeans boots and a fave jumper.

5 ~ Love or leave
If you don't love it don't buy it! You'll know almost instantly if a certain item of clothing is for you or not! Now don't get me wrong i do it all the time buy something and then never ever wear it... what a waste. But seriously its a great rule to go by that not only keeps your purse happy but iliminates the many hours spent throwing clothes around your room stressing that you have nothing to wear, when actually your drowning in fabric... (lads now you know).

I hope these little tips help you in some way to smash some of your shopping problems if not i hope it was still an entertaining read!
I want to know what your worst shopping moments were and if this is useful to you at all! Leave a comment below and id love to read them all!

10 things guys don't understand about us hunnies!

So heres some random things about us hunnies that you lads just don't understand! Alice and i have spoken to some of you and these were the most popular answers!! Enjoy! Just as a little disclaimer this is in no way meant to offend any of you men out there its litterally just a little bit of fun in response to last weeks post!

1- No means yes?
Why is it that we insist on saying no when really we mean YES! when you ask us if we want cake and we say no we really mean yes! when you ask us if we are annoyed and we say no.... we are defiantly annoyed. same goes for the word fine for some reason us ladies insist on saying we are fine just to save the argument for another day....whoops!

2- So two faced!
why is it that us girls are so two faced, one minute we are telling you just how much we hate that girl next minute we are posting pics up 'with my bff' and planning girls holidays together. You lads are so much more upfront about this kind of thing and good on your for sticking by us when we tell you all of our bitchy stories!

3-  Why we never go to the toilet alone?
Boys can't understand why we can't go to the toilet unaccompanied by another girl, but they are essential for things like zipping us back into our dress, holding our clutch bag and on emergency make up check. We always come out the toilet laughing because we've been talking about you or trying to make it look like we are having fun without you.

4- Shoe obsession
You can NEVER have too many shoes, it may look like a waste of money having the same shoe in 4 different colours but to us its practicality.

5- Why you ask questions when you know you wont like the answer?
don't know why we do this but us girls just want reassuring that the answer will be no to questions like... 'do you think she's prettier than me', 'does my bum look big in this' and ' did you just stare at her boobies'. Yeah its a silly game for us to play but just a hint don't pause before you answer!

6- why we complain about our weight and do absolutely nothing about it!
We'd all love to look like Kendall Jenner but the bottom line is cake and cocktails just have a bigger place in our hearts! why do we on having girly nights in crying over the sassy bods of famous hunnies stuffing our faces with endless amounts of chocolate and pizza.

7- overpacking
A good question asked by you men is why we need 12 outfits for a 3 day trip to the coast, as romantic as it is for you to book a last minute get a way, that leaves us no time to plan outfits and back up outfits, how can we plan if we don't know in advance what we're doing each day and whether its appropriate to wear heels or not.

8- Why we can never make a decision
When asked where we want to go for dinner or what movie we want to watch its so much easier to say 'i don't mind, its up to you' because we know deep down whatever we pick you'll only end up moaning about anyway. After all we'd only try force you to watch the latest chick flick!

9-  No clothes?
For some reason we insist on staring aimlessly at our bulging wardrobes crying that we have nothing to wear when actually 'I have no clothes' means 'Theres nothing in my wardrobe that i want to wear today' sorry guys! This is probably why it takes us soo long to get ready after hours of tantrums.

10- Overthinking?
Why do we insist on laying in bed at night overthinking a situation that isn't even a situation, "why did he only send me one kiss instead of two? have i annoyed him? is there another girl?" theres just something about the way our mind works that if theres no drama its about time we created some (sorry)

10 things us hunnies will never understand about you men!

This is one for the girls and something for the lads to laugh about! Just as a little disclaimer this is in no way meant to offend any of you men out there its litterally just a little bit of fun and later next week to get their own back there will be a '10 things men will never understand about us hunnies' post!

1. Oblivious?
Why is it you don't get our hints? the post it notes in magazines and sly comments when we want you to come pick us up and spend time with us! If I'm totally honest us girlies could probably do with being a little less sly racoon and a little more up front when we want something but come on lads let us think we are winning.

2.Boobs?
Chill out they're just boobs! you know who else has boobs?.... Your mum.

3.Got an itch down there? Or just checking its still there?
'Im just adjusting' Yeah okay adjusting what? don't then try hold my hand with that nasty lil hand?

4.Farts?

Why are they soo funny?... mmmm k

5. Breaking down with illness?

Come on now we all get ill from time to time but A* in drama goes to you lads when a little cold comes along

6. Money...
Why is there no limits to spending huge amounts of money on 'boys toys' yet when we want to head out in a new pair of heels we better expect the third degree! 'how much were they' 'when did you buy them' look when we both earn our own money then enjoy! But if you expect us ladies to not comment when you buy the next games console for over £300 the how bout a compliment on the new heels.... after all your the one we are impressing!

7. Computer games?
Hmmm i don't know whats so fascinating about killing people?! Acting out war scenes with dribbling zombies or racing a car off a hill on GTA...

8.Need Help? Know where your going?
Why can't you ask for help or stop and ask for directions? what is it that your pride is worth more than being stranded in the middle of nowhere for hours.

9. Golf
Now come on what is soo exciting about hitting a little ball and then walking after it.... Go fetch. To be honest that goes for football aswell that fact that you enjoy playing in the rain getting all muddy and for what?.... id rather a bath and cake!

10. Sitting comfortably?

I feel like I'm missing a trick here lads! sitting with your legs so wide apart that you have no shame in letting your meat and two veg hang low

My Guide To Happiness

Hey Hunnies!

So recently I've been feeling on top of the world and lets be honest I'm not usually that way!
When things are going wrong in my life or I'm feeling down these are the steps i take and tips i follow to ensuring happiness! Just as a little disclaimer i am in no way a life coach or have any professional knowledge what so ever its literally just little things I've come up with over time!
  1. Positive people ~Theres nothing worse than a negative nelly, and if day in and day out your surrounding yourself with these people then your bound to bring yourself down. Happiness is contagious, think about that friend that you love spending time with... why is that? Is it because they're dwelling on bad situations or always down??... no? Exactly!
  2. Be an earlybird ~Waking up earlier will not only give you a longer day but you'll also achieve more and feel successful! You'll be surprised how much more you can get done with an extra hour under your belt and that can only leave you feeling great with the satisfaction of a productive day! ...Even if it is just and extra chapter of a book, or surfing the internet!
  3. Do something that makes you happy everyday ~ Whether its curling up on the sofa with a cup of tea and your fave book, having a bubble bath, or a night out with the girls positive things make for a positive person!
  4. Be creative ~ Find a hobby and get those creative juices flowing! Draw a picture, have a little dance, bake some cakes, or read a book. You'll be keeping yourself busy, leaving no time to think negative thoughts and who knows you might be more creative than you thought!
  5. Compliment someone ~ Its not surprising how good it feels to be nice to someone and who knows a budding friendship can but exactly what you needed to cheer you up. So try it! Give someone a compliment, Buy your mum a bunch of flowers, or just show an interest in your main mans day, whether thats your boyfriend, dad or your granddad.
  6. Try it out ~ Try something new! You might find you have a secret talent, or a hidden love for something new. It'll help you stay confident and gives you heaps of that feel good factor.
  7. Acceptance ~ Be happy with who you are or the things you have. Its good to want to achieve more but don't knock yourself down because someone else is skinnier or richer? No body is perfect but a little too often we compare and change our insides to other peoples outsides. At the end of the day you can't love anyone else if you don't love yourself!
  8. Pamper Yourself ~ Take care of your body! Eating right foods, exercising regularly and simply taking care of yourself can really help you too feel better not just on the inside but also on the outside! you'll notice a huge difference like waking up earlier, feeling happier, and physical differences as well like weight loss and clearer skin.
I hope this has helped atleast one of you to stay happy or if not then i hope you enjoyed reading! Please comment below letting me know if this was any help to you! id love to know what you all think,x
